Everyone is welcome to join staff at all St. Joseph Public Library locations to gather outside to view the Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8.  The eclipse will be at its maximum coverage at 1:55 p.m.

We encourage you to look at this helpful booklet presented by STAR Library Network to learn more about solar eclipses and how to view them safely: A Guide for Public Libraries and Their Communities.

Are you looking for solar eclipse glasses? You can check local stores or consult this handy list: Supplies of Safe Solar Viewers and Filters.

For more information about the solar eclipse, contact our Reference Department at 816-232-8151.
