On this day, our Reader's Theater will be performing the one act play "Bad Auditions for Bad Actors" by Ian McWethy. Open to all who would like to see a fun show!

Need something fun to do with you kids this summer? Washington Park Library is taking story time out into our park! Come enjoy Summer Storytime with Miss Willa for an hour of stories and activities. If the weather is uncooperative, we will move inside to the Storytime room. Summer storytime is every Monday at 10am through the month of July. This program is intended for children ages 0-8 years.

Do you like to watch birds in your yard? Come to the Downtown Library and make an egg carton bird feeder. Soon you will have lots of feathered friends visiting your yard for a snack!

Features different crafts each week.

This week we will play BINGO for kids! Bring your game face, and get ready for fun, and winning cool prizes! 

Our weekly movie event is hosted by professional movie critic Bob Shultz. This week’s movie is Migration (2023) 82 Minutes, PG. 

Hard of hearing? We have t-coil looping technology installed in the theater for hearing aids. Thank you to the Sertoma Club of St. Joseph for providing this state-of-the-art technology in the theater!

Walk, crawl or run for storytime at the Carnegie Library. Each session will end with a craft.

Join us at the Downtown Library to design some wacky creations that you might not see in the average art class.

Cool off with the staff from the St. Joseph Public Library for an end of Summer Reading Ice Skating Party at Bode Ice Arena.  Admission is free!  The fun is priceless!  All children must be accompanied by an adult. Safe and courteous behaviors are required to participate.  Food and drinks for sell at the Bode concession stand.
