This week we will be reading stories featuring fall and then making a fun autumn craft! If you and your child enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and activities, join us every week for Tricky Tuesday! This program is best for Children ages 6 to 12.

Featuring fun crafts that may be wacky for the time of year. Available every Wednesday. While supplies last. Ask for at the circulation desk.

Children aged 0-6 and their caregivers are invited to learn and play together in the East Hills Storytime Room with the early literacy toy collection. In addition, we will sing songs and fingerplays featuring rhythm instruments, ribbon wands, scarves and/or shakers.

The Book Buddies Pony Express Therapy Dogs, in partnership with the East Hills Library, are offering children a way to improve their reading skills in a unique and fun environment. This program utilizes therapy dogs as the listeners for children of all ages and reading levels.  Drop in anytime during this 90 minute session.

Join us each month as we explore a fun food themed story, learn a kitchen skill, and try out a tasty treat based on our book. This month we'll be reading Fry Bread by Kevin Noble Maillard. Kids will practice kneading dough and we'll try fry bread, a traditional Navajo food. For kids ages 6-11 and their caregivers. Registration required.

Come shop at the East Hills Library Patio Sale on Thursday, October 22 from 4 - 8 p.m.  The library has cleaned house and there are lots of things that need a new home.  This sale is rain or shine.  In case of bad weather, sale will be moved indoors.

Cash, checks and cards accepted.  All proceeds will benefit programs and services at the library.
