Are you a high schooler in need of tutoring/mentoring hours for scholarships?

Apply for our new A+ Readers program where we match teen volunteers with young students who need reading practice.

All applicants must be entering grades 9 – 12 in the upcoming school year AND be participating in the A+ scholarship program. Opportunities to earn service hours may be available in the library or off-site at other locations throughout the community. All participants will be supervised by a St. Joseph Public Library staff member regardless of location. No transportation is provided.

The program will be every Thursday from 2-4 p.m. during the months of June and July. You must be available during this time! 

Mandatory training will be held at the East Hills Library on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2 p.m.
