About the Teen Advisory Board
The St. Joseph Public Library Teen Advisory Board is open to students between the ages of 12-17 residing in St. Joseph, MO.
Why should you join the teen advisory board?
o Make new friends!
o Suggest new books, movies and graphic novels to go into our collection.
o Plan programs and events for you and your friends.
o There will be food!
o Gain volunteer experience that looks good on a resume!
What is expected of teen advisory board?
o Showing up to all meetings or contacting the TAB coordinator to let them know that you will be unable to attend a meeting. Meetings will be once a month starting September 5, 2024 from 4:45 PM to 5:45 PM.
o Being an active participant in the meetings and going to some planned events.
How to apply:
1. Fill out the form completely.
2. NOTE: Filling out the application does not guarantee acceptance to the TAB, but your application will be kept on file for a
year. If invited to be a member, we will call or email.
