The Book Buddies Pony Express Therapy Dogs, in partnership with the East Hills Library, are offering children a way to improve their reading skills in a unique and fun environment. This program utilizes therapy dogs as the listeners for children of all ages and reading levels.  Drop in anytime during this 90 minute session.

Description:

May the 4th be with you. The Friends of Krug Park, City of SJ Parks Department, and St. Joseph Public Library are hosting a free movie at the Krug Park amphitheater. We're showing Solo A Star Wars Story (2018), Rated PG-13. 

The movie will begin after sunset and there will be popcorn and other refreshments for sale.

There is no cost to attend, but donations are welcome to help support the Friends of Krug Park.

Do you have a plethora of plants? Are you looking for something new for your garden, indoor or out? Join us for our first Plant Swap at the East Hills Library. Ms. Wendy Lilly, owner of Unique Unicorn, will be on site to offer her plant wisdom. 

Plant parents can bring plants, bulbs, seeds, cuttings, plant starts, planters and/or pots you want to rehome. Then peruse the tables to leave with something new to you! Please be sure to label your offerings and have them in containers that you are ready to part with. You bring the plants, we'll facilitate the swap!
