The Book Buddies Pony Express Therapy Dogs, in partnership with the East Hills Library, are offering children a way to improve their reading skills in a unique and fun environment. This program utilizes therapy dogs as the listeners for children of all ages and reading levels.  Drop in anytime during this 90 minute session.

Ready to stitch, slay, and create? Join us for Slay Crochet, a teen crochet club at Washington Park Library! 

We’ll provide all the materials and teach you the basics and more, so you'll leave with some new skills!  Come stitch, chill, and slay with us!  

Families of all types are invited to try their luck at Giant Games. We'll have Life Size Candy Land (where YOU are the playing pieces), giant Uno, giant Connect 4, and Giant Checkers. Come for a ginormous good time!

There are roughly 2,000 different types of cheese in the world. Wouldn't you like a chance to try them all? Well, we can't help you there, but we would love for you to come and try all of the fun cheeses that we can get our hands on near us!

Do you love the muscial 'Wicked'? Do you love to sing-along, but feel like you shouldn't in a theater? Now is your chance to belt out all the lyrics with no judgement in this showing of Wicked: For Good! Popcorn, lemonade, and water provided, while supplies last.

Join us for a fun-filled evening of bingo at Washington Park Library! Try your luck, enjoy great company, and play for a chance to win exciting prizes—no library card required! Event dependent on at least 8 people participating, so bring a friend! Intended for Adults and Teens. Registration Required.

Families of all types are invited to work together to paint a large terracotta planter. After painting, we will plant some wildflower seeds to help the pollinators. Each family will leave with one large planter.

Stop by the library to make gnome crafts and do a gnome scavenger hunt. 

Whether it's your first time watching or your twentieth, this interactive showing of the cult classic The Princess Bride will be a unique experience. Shout out iconic lines, use the provided props, enjoy the swashbuckling tale of TRUE WUV, and have an inconceivable good time! Costumes encouraged (no real weapons, please).
