If you and your child enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and activities, join us every week for Tricky Tuesday! This program is best for Children ages 6 to 12.

Our weekly movie event is hosted by professional movie critic Bob Shultz. This week’s movie is The Polar Express (2004) 1 hour 40 minutes, G.

Hard of hearing? We have t-coil looping technology installed in the theater for hearing aids. Thank you to the Sertoma Club of St. Joseph for providing this state-of-the-art technology in the theater!

Let us help you wrap holiday gifts for your loved ones. Learn some fun and creative ways to wrap!

*Gifts are not provided. Please limit your items to wrap to 2-3.   

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Land of Oz to solve the puzzles and escape the room. Gather your brains, heart, and courage to see if you can escape in 30 minutes or less!

We will have multiple days/times to choose from for the library's Land of Oz Escape Room. Registration will open on Monday, December 8th at 9 a.m. Have one member of your group join the queue here  and a library staff member will call to assign a time slot. This event is best for ages 6 and up and best for groups of 4-6 people. 

Saturday, 12/20, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, 12/21, 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Monday, 12/22, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

This event is free to attend, but a donation box will be available if you desire to donate to the Friends of the Library.

Come to the library and make a charming Christmas candy jar. Use it as a fun centerpiece, a thoughtful present, or just a place to stash your favorite treat! The possibilities are endless!

Families are invited to ring in the new year at Noon! Perfect for those who don't want to stay up 'til Midnight. Join us for a dance party with a DJ, bubbles and a balloon drop at noon!

The Book Buddies Pony Express Therapy Dogs, in partnership with the East Hills Library, are offering children a way to improve their reading skills in a unique and fun environment. This program utilizes therapy dogs as the listeners for children of all ages and reading levels.  Drop in anytime during this 90 minute session.

Join us for a reading of Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner and create a sensory snowman to take home with you!

Children aged 0-6 and their caregivers are invited to learn and play together in the East Hills Storytime Room with the early literacy toy collection. In addition, we will sing songs and fingerplays featuring rhythm instruments, ribbon wands, scarves and/or shakers.
