Children aged 0-6 and their caregivers are invited to learn and play together in the East Hills Storytime Room with the early literacy toy collection. In addition, we will sing songs and fingerplays featuring rhythm instruments, ribbon wands, scarves and/or shakers.

Join us for a community financial planning workshop presented by Missouri Western State University Craig School of Business and St. Joseph Public Library. Experts from MWSU will speak about investment fundamentals, investment strategies, tax sheltered investments, risks and more. 
 

Families of all types are invited to work together to paint a large terracotta planter. After painting, we will plant some wildflower seeds to help the pollinators. Each family will leave with one large planter.

The Book Buddies Pony Express Therapy Dogs, in partnership with the East Hills Library, are offering children a way to improve their reading skills in a unique and fun environment. This program utilizes therapy dogs as the listeners for children of all ages and reading levels.  Drop in anytime during this 90 minute session.

Stop by the library to make gnome crafts and do a gnome scavenger hunt. 

Do you have a plethora of plants? Are you looking for something new for your garden, indoor or out? Join us for a Plant Swap at the East Hills Library.  

Plant parents can bring plants, bulbs, seeds, cuttings, plant starts, planters and/or pots you want to rehome. Then peruse the tables to leave with something new to you! Please be sure to label your offerings and have them in containers that you are ready to part with. You bring the plants, we'll facilitate the swap!
