Welcome to our Block Party! Come help us kick off Block Party week in honor of our new Block and Street model of organizing the adult non-fiction collection. Take a guided tour of collection and journey through the blocks with a scavenger hunt. When you check out adult non-fiction titles this week, you can enter a drawing to win prizes. Beverages and light snacks will be served in the Owen Room. 

Do you love to do jigsaw puzzles? We do too! But what do you do with the ones you have completed? Now's your chance to swap some you have done with some new to you puzzles! Just bring a puzzle (or two, or three) and we'll swap with each other.

For all ages, no registration required. 

This session explains Medicare Program basics including Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance), Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance), Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap), Medicare Advantage, Medicare drug coverage (Part D), Medicaid, other programs to help people with limited income and resources, and related resources.

We have a block dedicated to Hobbies and Sports! One of the streets you'll find on this block is Fiber Arts. This is where all the knitting, crochet, embroidery, felting, etc. books are located. At this program, you can learn the basics of knitting then go check out the block to find your new favorite hobby!

Celebrate 40 years of the Baby-Sitters Club at the East Hills Library! Kids ages 6-11 can join us to hangout, BSC style. We'll have crafts, snacks, learn some essential baby-sitting tips and discover which baby-sitter is the fan favorite.

Beat the heat with our indoor nature study! Whether you're an avid artist or just getting started, join us as we bring some of the wonders of nature - both plant life and faux animals - to an air conditioned space. After a short lesson on nature journaling, we'll get started with drawing various nature-based still life displays. All materials will be provided. 

This week we will be reading stories and then making a fun craft! If you and your child enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and activities, join us every week for Tricky Tuesday! This program is best for Children ages 6 to 12.

Our weekly movie event is hosted by professional movie critic Bob Shultz. This week’s movie is Strange Brew (1983) 1 hour 30 minutes, PG. 

Hard of hearing? We have t-coil looping technology installed in the theater for hearing aids. Thank you to the Sertoma Club of St. Joseph for providing this state-of-the-art technology in the theater!
