Children aged 0-6 and their caregivers are invited to learn and play together in the East Hills Storytime Room with the early literacy toy collection. In addition, we will sing songs and fingerplays featuring rhythm instruments, ribbon wands, scarves and/or shakers.

Come hang out in the library after it's closed for the day.

September, on top of being National Library Card Sign-Up month, is also National Potato Month, so enjoy a baked potato bar and play some fun games on this day! 

In the basement of the library, there lived the Baggins’ Birthday Bash! Bring the family and celebrate the birthdays of Bilbo and Frodo with a showing of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), 2 hours 50 minutes, rated PG-13. While it may be a few days after their actual birthday of September 22, we’re operating on wizard time, partying precisely when we mean to. Come in your favorite garb (quite optional!) and take your photo in the Shire, make a Hobbit-themed craft, and enjoy a baked potato bar and birthday cake. Teens and adults are encouraged to register early to secure your spot in this adventure.
