You are invited to work on your Spanish or English language skills at this Conversation Club. Participants will work in matched pairs to help each other improve their spoken language skills in both languages. If you are learning either Spanish or English this is a great place to practice in a judgement free zone.

Get ready to sing, dance, read, and have so much fun with Ms. Misty for preschool Storytime at the East Hills Library!

Activities will be geared toward ages 3-6.

This week we will be reading stories featuring rabbits and then making a fun bunny craft! If you and your child enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and activities, join us every week for Tricky Tuesday! This program is best for Children ages 6 to 12.

Our weekly movie event is hosted by professional movie critic Bob Shultz. This week’s movie is Network (1976) 2 hours 1 Minute, R. 

Hard of hearing? We have t-coil looping technology installed in the theater for hearing aids. Thank you to the Sertoma Club of St. Joseph for providing this state-of-the-art technology in the theater!

Bring your wiggly toddlers to a storytime designed just for them!
Children, ages 18 months-3 years, and their caring adults, can participate in early literacy enhancing activities including books, songs, movement activities, finger plays and flannel stories.

Regardless of what language you speak, TEFL certified instructor, Anne Kiske, will teach you basic English for free. Registration is for all six classes. Skills will build on previous sessions.

The art of handwriting is making a resurgence! Would you like to build your penmanship or cursive skills? Join Dr. Paula Hayward and Janie Obermier for this five-week course that will give you foundational tools or build upon your already existing skills to communicate in cursive. Each week, we will practice new forms in lettering and discuss the historical art of penmanship. All materials will be provided. 

Ready to stitch, slay, and create? Join us for Slay Crochet, a teen crochet club at Washington Park Library! 

We’ll provide all the materials and teach you the basics and more, so you'll leave with some new skills!  Come stitch, chill, and slay with us!
