Join us for LEGO Club at the East Hills Library! Come meet with fellow LEGO enthusiasts each month for various LEGO challenges. Can you build it?

For grades K and up.

Teens and adults of all skill levels are invited to the East Hills Library to meet with others who share a passion for the game of Chess. Let's learn and play together!

For Teens and Adults, no registration required.

Children aged 0-6 and their caregivers are invited to learn and play together in the East Hills Storytime Room with the early literacy toy collection. In addition, we will sing songs and fingerplays featuring rhythm instruments, ribbon wands, scarves and/or shakers.

Adults can try their hand at needle felting with the wise guidance of master fiber artist, Saundra. We will create lovely flowers that can be used as a brooch, magnet, barrette, headband, etc.

For adults, registration required. 

Medieval women are often portrayed as damsels in distress who needed a bright shining knight to rescue them, existing with no rights or power of their own. Join Dr. Paula Hayward as she outlines the basis for these medieval tropes and shares the reality of the power that medieval women possessed in the legal system as well as in their everyday lives. 

The Classically Speaking series is a monthly program designed to share stories from the various educational fields known as the liberales artes. Designed for adults, bring your curiosity as we cultivate knowledge outside the classroom in an accessible and exam-free space. 

Do you love playing Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo Switch? Do you want to challenge others to see who you can beat? Join our Super Smash Bros. All Ages Tournament! Sign-in begins at 1:30 p.m., tournament begins at 2 p.m. Feel free to bring your own joycons or pro controller. 

Save your spot by registering all in your family who want to participate in this elimination tournament. For all ages. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
