The Classically Speaking series is a monthly program designed to share stories from the various educational fields known as the liberales artes. This month, Dr. Dan Trifan shares behind-the-scenes stories from the period after the Emancipation Reform of 1861 and the lengths both the government and people of Russia took to reach their goals. Designed for adults, bring your curiosity as we cultivate knowledge outside the classroom in an accessible and exam-free space.

In lieu of a regular meeting, the Afternoon Tea Book Club will be going to Cozy Lit Fest! Cozy Lit Fest is being hosted at Alexander Major's Barn and House in Kanas City, MO. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Attendees are responsible for buying their own ticket and for transportation to the event. All 4 branches have a print book (please check with your preferred branch for availability). We will be discussing September's book at 4pm at the tea bar.
