As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we reflect on the history that has shaped our nation. Genealogy librarian Marina Trifan will be exploring the history of the Eden Musee, a popular Dime Museum during the 1880's and 90's, and the cast of characters that passed through St. Joseph.

All aboard as Sarah Elder presents a brief history of railroads leading up to the Transcontinental Railroad and the role, or lack thereof, St. Joseph played. She will also outline the railroad's impact on Missouri and St. Joseph. Designed for adults, bring your curiosity as we cultivate knowledge outside the classroom in an accessible and exam-free space.
