On Saturday, July 12, starting at 8:00PM, through Sunday, July 13, at 7:00 AM, the Downtown St. Joseph Public Library will host its first lock-in at the library event, for teens age 13 - 18. Stay in the library all night after we have locked our doors. We will have food, games, movies, and crafts!
Teens may arrive at 7:30PM for dinner and must be in the building by 8:00 PM. Late arrivals will not be permitted.
PERMISSION SLIP MUST BE FILLED OUT BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN PRIOR TO DROP OFF OR ENTRY WILL BE DENIED.
Things to bring day of:
- • Your signed and completed permission slip if it hasn’t already been turned in (a parent must submit slip)
- • Sleeping bag and/or pillow for relaxing during movie screenings & wear comfy clothes
- • Games to share

Our weekly movie event is hosted by professional movie critic Bob Shultz. This week’s movie is Twisters (2024) 122 Minutes, PG-13.
Hard of hearing? We have t-coil looping technology installed in the theater for hearing aids. Thank you to the Sertoma Club of St. Joseph for providing this state-of-the-art technology in the theater!
