The Friends of the St. Joseph Public Library Local Interest and Vintage Sale includes old, vintage, collectible, and local interest books. Prices range from $3 and up. It is located in the Owen Room on the first floor of the Downtown Library at 927 Felix St.

The Friends Only Preview Sale will be 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28. Friends memberships may be purchased at the door or ahead of time at https://friends-sjpl.square.site/membership . The sale will be open to the public 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 29.

Super Mario fans can join us for a Family Art Night Mario style! The Super Mario Galaxy Movie comes out later this week, so get ready by creating a Super Mario theme shadow box. Each family will work together to create one shadow box to take home. We will have a door prize for one lucky family to win a gift card to Hollywood Theater to see the movie.

Participants will work in matched pairs to help each other improve their spoken language skills in both languages. If you are learning either Spanish or English this is a great place to practice in a judgement free zone.

Los participantes trabajarán en parejas para ayudarse mutuamente a mejorar sus habilidades de habla en ambos idiomas.
