Description:

The first session, Protecting Children Online, that was cancelled on 12/1 due to inclement weather, will be covered on this day as well as the Online Predators session. So plan to stay a little longer to learn a lot of information! 

The first part will equip parents and guardians with essential knowledge and practical strategies to ensure their children's safety in the digital world. Attendees will learn about common online risks, how to identify and prevent cyberbullying, responsible social media use, and tools for monitoring online activity.  

The second part will delve into the serious threat of online predators, helping attendees understand their tactics and how to protect vulnerable individuals. We will cover recognizing warning signs, reporting suspicious behavior, and fostering open communication about online interactions. Mr. Gorman will draw on 27 years of experience and expertise in digital forensics, experience working with federal law enforcement agencies, for tracking and recovering information that is necessary to capture an online predator in online safety cases.
