Gather all together with the St. Joseph Public Library this summer! Log the books you read to earn badges and rewards.
Register at: sjplibrary.beanstack.org Track the books you read online with the Beanstack app or ask for a paper reading log if you prefer to track your reading on paper.
To complete the 2023 Summer Reading Program, read a minimum of four books between June 1st and July 31st.
The Summer Reading Program is simple: Register, read, and win!
All participants who successfully log four books by July 31, 2023 will be entered into our GRAND PRIZE DRAWING for cash, gift cards, and more!** Anyone who logs their first book by June 15, 2023 will be eligible to win our All Together Now Community Fun gift basket (valued at $200). Participants of all ages are eligible to enter.
2023 Summer Reading Rewards include:

- 1 Free Book** to add to your home library + automatic entry into the Grand Prize Drawing for your fourth book read & logged
Participants can unlock virtual Beanstack Badges by completing fun library-related activities throughout the summer. Badges can also be tracked on our BINGO activity sheet. Get the summer fun started at our Summer Reading Kickoff Party on June 3 at Carnegie Library from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.! We’ll have games, a petting zoo and FREE Kona Ice for the first 200 attendees, courtesy of GS Trucking!
**All prizes and goodies are local pick-up only while supplies last. Must collect physical prizes in person at any one of the four St. Joseph Public Library branches. While we encourage you to use the Beanstack app, library staff members are ready to assist with registration and reading logs, so all are welcome to participate– just let us know if you need help!
