In partnership with United Way Success by 6 and Parents as Teachers, the St. Joseph Public Library will host an indoor/outdoor party for pre-kindergarten kids.  Through stories, games and activities, children and parents can practice building a variety of pre-reading skills together.

Each child in attendance will receive a free book, and all attendees can enjoy a free picnic-style meal served by the Kiwanis Club of St. Joseph, MO. Families are encouraged to bring blankets to enjoy their meal on the lawn. Food and free books are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
