The Reference Department is happy to offer Research Services! If you live outside of St. Joseph, we offer 30 minutes of research for only $10, with a maximum research time limit of 2 hours for $40.
Research can include death, marriage, birth, divorce notices or other articles that appeared in the St. Joseph News-Press and/or St. Joseph Gazette. A date must be provided. For obituary or death dates please try the Reference Department’s Obituary Database or the Missouri State Archives Death Certificate Database.
The Reference Department can also search old city directories, phonebooks, yearbooks, local history books and other sources to assist you with your research.
