Children are more at ease reading out loud to a friendly dog than a human. The Domesti-PUPS organization partners with the library to offer children a way to improve their reading skills in a unique and fun environment. The program utilizes therapy dogs as listeners for children who have reading and speech difficulties. For more on the Domesti-PUPS organization visit http://www.domesti-pups.org/.
No registration is required. For questions, visit the East Hills Library or call 236-2136.
